Where The Boys Are

Since boys will be boys, they have their own quarters. There are now 3 barns with 5 outdoor runs and an exercise wheel in each run. There is great competition for the wheels by females as well as males

Above left is the original cat cottage that we had moved from Morristown to Califon and which the cats seem to prefer over the other barns.  Being older I think it smells right, despite my efforts. Above right is the third barn, set in a different part of the property. We can watch the cats from the deck and kitchen and they can see us as well

The cages sit on platforms and have cat flaps between them so cages can be common or private. There are flaps, too, on most cages that allow the cats to go outside into their runs where the wheels are.
